History of JE Mondejar Computer College
In 1993, JE Mondejar Computer School commenced the delivery of associate-level programmes, initially offering courses in Computer Secretarial and Computer Technology. In response to the institution’s sustained growth and development, the Board of Trustees approved a change in name to JE Mondejar Computer College in 1995. This change signified a formal restructuring of the organisation and reflected an expanded institutional mission and vision. That same year, the College launched its core baccalaureate programmes: the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a major in Management.
The institution further broadened its academic offerings in 2000 with the introduction of additional associate programmes, including Food Preparation and Service Technology, Computer Hardware Technology, PC Operations, and Computer Hardware Servicing. These programmes were developed to respond to emerging industry demands and to diversify the College’s technical education portfolio.
In 2008, JE Mondejar Computer College expanded its academic reach by establishing its pre-elementary, elementary, and secondary education departments. This initiative addressed the growing demand for foundational education that integrates academic rigour with contextual relevance, thus providing a seamless educational continuum for learners from early childhood through higher education.
At present, JE Mondejar Computer College remains committed to the advancement of education rooted in global responsibility and active citizenship. The College ensures access to qualified and dedicated faculty, continuously modernised facilities, and curricula that are regularly updated to align with international standards and best practices. Institutional services and technological resources are consistently upgraded to keep pace with contemporary global developments in education and industry.
